Dig it. Today I've been thinking about your point #5. It seems like I have this internal pre-verbal energy/feeling which my mind then puts into thoughts afterward, but the thoughts never quite capture that energy in full. It's such a limiting translation. Especially when it comes to something like emotional processing. Sometimes I'll try to turn the feeling into words (mostly through journaling) to try and get to the bottom of the feeling, but it usually only scratches the surface and sometimes leaves me further away (through rationalizations). I've been trying to find other ways to get at the pre-verbal feeling more directly, and meditating (as well as things like crying and doodling and vibing to music) seems to work pretty well. Great post my dood!
